Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Voclet application ("App") or website at voclet.com ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users of Voclet, including free and paid subscribers. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Description of Service
Voclet is an AI-powered exam preparation platform designed to help candidates prepare for the Dutch Inburgering A2 and B1 exams. The Service includes practice exercises for Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking, as well as AI-generated feedback, readiness scoring, and performance tracking.
Voclet provides educational preparation tools only. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with DUO (Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs) or any official Dutch government examination body.
Subscriptions & Billing
Voclet offers both a free tier and premium subscription plans ("Pro"). The following terms apply to paid subscriptions:
Subscription details
Refunds are handled according to the policies of the App Store (Apple) or Google Play Store. Voclet does not process refunds directly. To request a refund, please visit your respective store's support page.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Voclet only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools to access or extract content from the Service.
- Share, resell, or redistribute Voclet content or premium features without authorization.
- Attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to our systems or infrastructure.
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
- Create multiple accounts to abuse free tier limits or trial periods.
Violation of these rules may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account without prior notice.
Intellectual Property
All content within Voclet — including but not limited to exam questions, AI-generated feedback, example answers, the Engine Orion scoring system, interface design, and branding — is owned by or licensed to Voclet and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial exam preparation purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Voclet content without written permission.
Content Disclaimer
Voclet provides exam preparation content for educational purposes only. While we strive to make our practice materials as accurate and representative of the real Inburgering exam as possible, we make no guarantees regarding:
- The accuracy, completeness, or currency of our exam content.
- Specific exam scores or outcomes you will achieve on the official Inburgering exam.
- The accuracy of AI-generated feedback, which is provided as guidance and not as official assessment.
Passing Voclet practice tests does not guarantee passing the official Inburgering exam. Always refer to official DUO resources and guidelines for the most up-to-date exam information.
AI-Generated Content
Voclet uses artificial intelligence (Engine Orion) to evaluate your speaking and writing responses, generate feedback, and estimate your exam readiness. By using these features, you acknowledge that:
- AI feedback is generated automatically and may not always be perfectly accurate.
- AI scores are estimates and should be treated as guidance, not definitive evaluations.
- Your voice recordings are processed transiently for feedback generation and are not used to train AI models without explicit consent.
Limitation of Liability
Voclet is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Voclet and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
You may stop using Voclet and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we determine to be harmful to other users or the Service.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be submitted to the appropriate courts.
Apple Standard EULA
The Voclet iOS application is subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA shall take precedence with respect to the iOS application.
